(The Center Square) – For the third consecutive year, former Vice President Mike Pence will serve as a distinguished visiting fellow at Grove City College.

Pence, who has been affiliated with the College since 2024, will be returning to the role in the fall at the Center for Faith & Public Life.

Pence said that he’s looking forward to continuing his position “as part of this truly unique Christian college,” and lauded the institution’s record of advancing conservative and Christian values, while providing an “excellent and affordable education.”

“The stakes for America’s rising generation could not be higher,” Pence said. “Grove City College’s Christ-centered, world-class education is more important now than ever before and I am humbled to continue to play a small role in training up future leaders who will impact our Nation in faith and the public square.”

During his tenure at Grove City College, he has taught political science courses on faith and public life, led seminars and mentored students, helped host Grove City’s annual Ronald Reagan Lecture, and provided leadership through the Center, which “encourages the expression and influence of Christian faith in American society.”

“Vice President Pence has become a valued member of the Grove City College community through the wisdom, encouragement, and personal investment he brings to our students,” said Grove City College President Bradley Lingo. “His example of faithful leadership and service to the common good is one that I hope inspires our students as we prepare them to serve and lead.”

Grove City College launched the Center for Faith & Public Life in 2024 and named Pence as its first Distinguished Fellow for Faith and Public Life. The college describes this center as part of the institution’s “conservative think tank” The Center for Faith & Freedom, which is “dedicated to advancing the vision and values that undergird American freedom.”

Pence’s most recent elected office was as vice president during President Donald Trump’s first term in the Oval Office. Prior to that, Pence was the governor of Indiana and served six terms in the U.S. House.

Following his tenure as vice president, Pence, a conservative Republican, founded Advancing American Freedom in 2021, a policy and advocacy organization committed to traditional conservative ideals that are “bigger than any one moment, election, or person.”
