A recent state probe of campaign finance violations showed that Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar filed federal taxes in 2014 and 2015 with her current husband while legally married to what was reported as “another man.”

But, as the Star Tribune reports, questions have been further raised about documents related to the probe that the other man Omar was married to may have been her own brother.

Omar has denied the allegations in the past, dismissing them as “baseless rumors,” but critics say it appears she may have possibly married her own brother in order to skirt immigration laws.
