Born out of the unexpected loss of Dustin’s father, the deeply personal song wrestles with grief, regret, bitterness and the daily struggle to surrender control to God. Rather than offering an easy answer, “The War I’m In” honestly sits in the tension of loss while holding onto a stubborn flicker of hope.
