Some would advise: “Fight to get what’s yours, to get what you deserve.” But Abram demonstrates another way. It’s the way of peace. This way involves looking out for the other person’s interests and not just your own. It forces you to remember that everything in this world belongs to God. He’ll make sure you get all that you need and more, so you can quit fighting for your “rightful” share.
